For this front cover of an NME magazine, you can see that there is allot of variety's on the front cover that will keep the reader more interested into the product. It keeps the reader more interested and makes them want to buy the magazine, but the bright colours, that contrast against each other with the white background that will make the colours of the red and blue stand out. Also the fact that the colours are representing the American flag, as most of the artist and the main image of Lana Del Rey are all American singers/artists, which will attract more younger viewers and make the readers who are more interested into music magazines, will want to buy. The main image on the front cover has a mid shot angle, with the main feature of the image with the gaze of the image, that will engage the reader and making it look like it's looking at them, making them want to see the product.
There are also some pugs and pull outs quotes, to make the reader see what articles or competitions are going to be inside the magazine, and make them want to buy it. You can also see that the blur text on the front cover seem to highlight the artist's names or anything that has to do anything with music. This front cover also uses secondary images at the top right hand corner to give the reader, more of an insider of what's some articles are going to be about, because if someone was interested in a certain band or singer, they will want to read more about them. The mast head is
white, big and bold, since it doesn't have a colour that is very bright and
will attract the viewer. It is also in front of the main image since it isn't that
bright and will give new readers what brand of the magazine is.
